This is Nick Frey, Princeton Mechanical Engineer Class of '09 (assuming cycling does not take over before then!). I had talked to you on the phone earlier today about a bamboo fixed-gear that my three partners and I are building and hoping to show at your NAHBS.
I really enjoyed looking through your blog, and I am glad your daughter hopes to go down the same road as I am--very cool, we need more women in the sport!
Please let me know if there is any chance that we can exhibit our creation (all bamboo with bamboo fiber and resin joints) at your show--we really want to show what is possible with this amazing, sustainable material, and we also want to represent Princeton!
